Art has toured the United States and Japan with Bobby “Blue” Bland, Puerto Rico and Scandinavia with Preston Shannon, the US and Canada with Mason Ruffner.

He entertained thousands of tourists and locals for years playing on Beale Street with Preston Shannon, Mason Ruffner, FreeWorld, Sideman Syndicate and as a member of the B.B. King’s Blues Club house band. He also jammed with Ivan Neville, Jon Fishman of Phish, the Aquarium Rescue Unit, Robert Walter’s 20th Congress and Jim Belushi to name just a few.

Art has backed up such diverse artists as Wayne Newton, Levon Helm, Chris Cain, Leslie Gore and the Coasters.

And he has recorded a Platinum-selling, Grammy-winning CD with guitarist Jonny Lang as well as sessions with the Freddy Jones Band, the Gales Brothers, Charlie Wood, FreeWorld, Chad Anderson and several of Memphis’ top groups.

Art has been a member of the Gamble Brothers Band since May of 2001 as a saxophonist, singer, songwriter and percussionist.
